Installation

  1. Unzip the «Kensal Live Bridge» folder and put it where it will stay, for example in Music. Quit Ableton and the Maschine software.
  2. Double-click «KensalLiveBridge.command». macOS may block it the first time; if it does, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click «Open Anyway». You only do this once.
  3. The first time it asks for your licence key, which comes in your purchase email: paste it and press Enter. When the Maschine shows the start-up animation, open Ableton. In Settings → Link, Tempo & MIDI, choose the «KensalLiveBridge» control surface with input and output «Kensal Live Bridge».
  4. Every time you use it: first the bridge, then Ableton. The full instructions are inside the folder.

After buying you get an email with your order. From there you always download the latest version, and we email you when a new one is out.

Is this an official Native Instruments or Ableton product?

No. Kensal Live Bridge is an independent project, compatible with their products.
